In 2018, Greece's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 13.3% compared to 2017, reaching 80,351.

Greece ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 49.3% (from 53,810 in 2013).
