In 2013, Greece's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 14.5% compared to 2012, reaching 49,157.

Greece ranks 11th out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 32.8% (from 37,006 in 2008).
