In 2014, Greece's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 11.2% compared to 2013, reaching 43,647.

Greece ranks 12th out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 9.6% (from 39,832 in 2009).
