At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2016, Hungary's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 47.8% compared to 2015, reaching 6.8%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 14.3%.

Hungary ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 38.8% (from 4.9% in 2011).
