At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2025, Hungary's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 14.3% compared to 2024, reaching 13.8%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.3%.

Hungary ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 51.6% (from 9.1% in 2020).
