Employment rates by citizenship

In 2007, Romania's employment rates by citizenship increased by 0.3% compared to 2006, reaching 64.8%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 71.6%.

Romania ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 0.5% (from 64.5% in 2002).
