Fertility indicators

In 1974, Hungary's fertility indicators increased by 17.6% compared to 1973, reaching 2.27.

Hungary ranks 9th out of 18 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 11.3% (from 2.04 in 1969).
