Fertility indicators

In 1981, Hungary's fertility indicators decreased by 1.6% compared to 1980, reaching 1.88.

Hungary ranks 11th out of 20 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 15.7% (from 2.23 in 1976).
