Fertility indicators

In 1982, Hungary's fertility indicators decreased by 4.3% compared to 1981, reaching 1.80.

Hungary ranks 13th out of 21 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 16.3% (from 2.15 in 1977).
