Fertility indicators

In 1989, Hungary's fertility indicators increased by 0.6% compared to 1988, reaching 1.82.

Hungary ranks 11th out of 22 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.0% (from 1.75 in 1984).
