Government deficit/surplus, debt and associated data

In 2014, Hungary's government deficit/surplus, debt and associated data decreased by 0.9% compared to 2013, reaching 76.5%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 86.9%.

Hungary ranks 12th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 2.2% (from 78.2% in 2009).
