Population structure indicators at national level

In 2008, Hungary's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.5% compared to 2007, reaching 39.4.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 40.6.

Hungary ranks 17th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.5% (from 38.8 in 2003).
