Distribution of population by tenure status, type of household and income group

In 2024, Hungary's distribution of population by tenure status, type of household and income group increased by 1.2% compared to 2023, reaching 91.6%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 68.4%.

Hungary ranks 3rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 0.1% (from 91.7% in 2019).
