Distribution of population by tenure status, type of household and income group

In 2024, Romania's distribution of population by tenure status, type of household and income group decreased by 1.4% compared to 2023, reaching 94.3%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 68.4%.

Romania ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 1.6% (from 95.8% in 2019).
