Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2018, Hungary's share of energy from renewable sources increased by 0.2% compared to 2017, reaching 7.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 8.3%.

Hungary ranks 10th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 22.2% (from 6.3% in 2013).
