Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2018, Romania's main indicators decreased by 3.3% compared to 2017, reaching 6.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 8.3%.

Romania ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 16.5% (from 5.4% in 2013).
