Population in private households by educational attainment level

In 2021, Hungary's population in private households by educational attainment level increased by 8.1% compared to 2020, reaching 29.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 33.6%.

Hungary ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 23.6% (from 23.7% in 2016).
