Population in private households by educational attainment level

In 2021, Romania's population in private households by educational attainment level increased by 0.5% compared to 2020, reaching 18.8%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 33.6%.

Romania ranks 27th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 8.0% (from 17.4% in 2016).
