Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2016, Hungary's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 24.2% compared to 2015, reaching 5.0%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 9.3%.

Hungary ranks 24th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 53.3% (from 10.7% in 2011).
