Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2022, Hungary's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 22.1% compared to 2021, reaching 10.6%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 14.6%.

Hungary ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.0% (from 10.5% in 2017).
