Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2023, Hungary's unemployment by sex and age increased by 20.8% compared to 2022, reaching 12.8%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 14.6%.

Hungary ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 29.3% (from 9.9% in 2018).
