Police-recorded offences by offence category

In 2015, Ireland's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 6.3% compared to 2014, reaching 72,716.

Ireland ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 5.1% (from 76,653 in 2010).
