Population structure indicators at national level

In 2015, Ireland's population structure indicators at national level increased by 3.3% compared to 2014, reaching 21.8.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 31.6.

Ireland ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 19.1% (from 18.3 in 2010).
