Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2018, Ireland's main indicators increased by 9.9% compared to 2017, reaching 33.3%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 32.1%.

Ireland ranks 12th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 59.0% (from 21.0% in 2013).
