Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2018, Romania's main indicators decreased by 0.4% compared to 2017, reaching 41.8%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 32.1%.

Romania ranks 7th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 11.4% (from 37.5% in 2013).
