Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2017, Italy's main indicators increased by 4.9% compared to 2016, reaching 18.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 18.4%.

Italy ranks 13th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 18.3% (from 15.4% in 2012).
