Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2017, Sweden's main indicators increased by 1.5% compared to 2016, reaching 53.4%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 18.4%.

Sweden ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 8.1% (from 49.4% in 2012).
