Population in private households by educational attainment level

In 2024, Italy's population in private households by educational attainment level increased by 3.2% compared to 2023, reaching 22.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 36.1%.

Italy ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 13.2% (from 19.7% in 2019).
