Employment rates by educational attainment level

In 2019, Italy's employment rates by educational attainment level increased by 0.4% compared to 2018, reaching 81.5%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 86.2%.

Italy ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.8% (from 77.8% in 2014).
