Employment rates by educational attainment level

In 2020, Italy's employment rates by educational attainment level decreased by 0.7% compared to 2019, reaching 80.9%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 85.4%.

Italy ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.1% (from 78.5% in 2015).
