At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2018, Latvia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 4.9% compared to 2017, reaching 25.8%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 17.5%.

Latvia ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 30.3% (from 19.8% in 2013).
