At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2019, Latvia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 2.7% compared to 2018, reaching 25.1%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 17.2%.

Latvia ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 11.6% (from 22.5% in 2014).
