Population structure indicators at national level

In 2007, Latvia's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.8% compared to 2006, reaching 39.8.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 40.3.

Latvia ranks 13th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.4% (from 38.5 in 2002).
