Population structure indicators at national level

In 2008, Latvia's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.3% compared to 2007, reaching 39.9.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 40.6.

Latvia ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.8% (from 38.8 in 2003).
