Population structure indicators at national level

In 2016, Latvia's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.5% compared to 2015, reaching 42.9.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 43.0.

Latvia ranks 10th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.6% (from 41.4 in 2011).
