Population structure indicators at national level

In 2009, Latvia's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.7% compared to 2008, reaching 29.1.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 28.4.

Latvia ranks 7th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 7.8% (from 27.0 in 2004).
