Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2008, Latvia's main national accounts tax aggregates decreased by 1.0% compared to 2007, reaching 29.5%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 39.4%.

Latvia ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.1% (from 28.9% in 2003).
