Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2023, Latvia's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 5.8% compared to 2022, reaching 6.5%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 6.1%.

Latvia ranks 9th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 12.2% (from 7.4% in 2018).
