Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2024, Latvia's unemployment by sex and age increased by 6.2% compared to 2023, reaching 6.9%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 5.9%.

Latvia ranks 8th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 9.5% (from 6.3% in 2019).
