Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2025, Latvia's unemployment by sex and age increased by 8.8% compared to 2024, reaching 14.8%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 15.2%.

Latvia ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 0.7% (from 14.9% in 2020).
