Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2024, Latvia's unemployment by sex and age increased by 10.6% compared to 2023, reaching 13.6%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 14.9%.

Latvia ranks 17th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 7.1% (from 12.7% in 2019).
