Employment rates by citizenship

In 2024, Lithuania's employment rates by citizenship increased by 0.6% compared to 2023, reaching 73.0%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 66.2%.

Lithuania ranks 6th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 0.7% (from 72.5% in 2019).
