Employment rates by citizenship

In 2024, Hungary's employment rates by citizenship increased by 1.1% compared to 2023, reaching 71.4%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 66.2%.

Hungary ranks 9th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 13.2% (from 63.1% in 2019).
