Fertility indicators

In 1978, Lithuania's fertility indicators decreased by 2.8% compared to 1977, reaching 2.08.

Lithuania ranks 9th out of 20 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 6.3% (from 2.22 in 1973).
