Fertility indicators

In 1978, Slovakia's fertility indicators decreased by 0.8% compared to 1977, reaching 2.47.

Slovakia ranks 4th out of 20 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 3.5% (from 2.56 in 1973).
