In 2019, Lithuania's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 17.2% compared to 2018, reaching 1,641.

Lithuania ranks 22nd out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 50.9% (from 3,342 in 2014).
