In 2020, Lithuania's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 25.4% compared to 2019, reaching 1,224.

Lithuania ranks 22nd out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 59.2% (from 2,999 in 2015).
