Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2019, Lithuania's unemployment by sex and age increased by 7.2% compared to 2018, reaching 11.9%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 15.7%.

Lithuania ranks 17th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 38.3% (from 19.3% in 2014).
