Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2019, Spain's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 5.2% compared to 2018, reaching 32.5%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 15.7%.

Spain ranks 2nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 38.9% (from 53.2% in 2014).
