Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2019, Sweden's unemployment by sex and age increased by 14.9% compared to 2018, reaching 19.3%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 15.7%.

Sweden ranks 6th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 13.1% (from 22.2% in 2014).
